Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Manage a caseload of approximately 10–12 patients per day, treating post-operative, workers' compensation, and general orthopedic conditions including spine, upper quarter, and lower quarter diagnoses
• Maintain accurate, timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act, maintain licensure in good standing, and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience treating outpatient orthopedic conditions including post-operative, workers' compensation, spine, upper quarter, and lower quarter cases
• Proficiency in clinical documentation, goal writing, and compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and adherence to safe patient handling practices

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students in a clinical setting
• Involvement in professional development activities, continuing education, or professional organizations
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives in an outpatient clinic setting
