Job Description Job Description CNC Lathe Machinist Pay Range: $20 - $30 per hour Benefits: Major medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, and flexible spending account Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with opportunity for overtime About the Role As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality, precision-machined parts that meet our rigorous standards and specifications. Working in a structured environment, you'll ensure that every product is crafted with exceptional attention to detail, resulting in consistent, defect-free outcomes. Key Responsibilities * Independently set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring parts are completed within designated timeframes. * Deliver first-pass success by producing high-quality, defect-free parts. * Deburr machined parts to meet quality standards. * Accurately document part production and ensure traceability of parts according to company standards. * Bring a continuous improvement mindset. * Collaborate effectively within a team to achieve production goals. * Adhere to strict standards for machining, measurement, and documentation. Candidate Requirements * Proficiency in reading and interpreting part prints and technical drawings. * Must own, or be willing to purchase, personal tools required for the role. * Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, lift, kneel and walk for the entire shift. * Ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 lbs. * Experience with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. * Strong commitment to quality, precision, and continuous improvement. * Strong attention to detail and adherence to defined processes. * Measure parts with micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices.
