Environmental Technician

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Environmental Technician to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting environmental projects and contributing to the overall success of our firm. Prior field experience in site assessment and data collection is a plus, but not required — we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about environmental science and eager to make a difference in a field-based role. Responsibilities: Conduct field investigations and environmental assessments. Collect soil, water, and air samples in accordance with established protocols. Assist in the implementation of remedial actions. Conduct environmental remediation system operations and maintenance. Collaborate with project managers, scientists, and other team members to achieve project goals. Maintain accurate and detailed field notes and data records. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations. Qualifications: Associate's degree (minimum) or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or a related field required. Previous experience in environmental consulting or a related field is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements is helpful. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork in various environmental settings.
