Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a PRN- ER Shift : Variable D/N/E, 1p, 3p, 7p, 8p, 9p, 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 12x1, 12hr per week Length : 13 weeks Requirements: CA License Minimum of 1 year of ER unit Experience BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS CPI/MAB/SAAM(either one) Other Details: Charting: Allscripts EMD charting Must be willing to float Within 50 miles Requirements: - Minimum of 1 year of ER unit Experience - CA RN License, No EMSA. - attached with submission - Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and CPI/MAB/SAAM(either one) - attached with submission MAB Vendors accepted: Educate Simplify Healthcare Education company (MAB), Empirical Safety Training - (S.A.A.M.) Violence Prevention & Management, and Phoenix Training Group- (MAB) CPI Vendors accepted: Childrens Hospital LA De-escalation and Crisis Prevention training and CPI Blue Card - in person training - Within 50 miles / 1 hour commute max. - Must be willing to float CPI: Must be a hybrid (in-person/online) or full in-person course Must have 4-8 contact hours issued. Anything less will NOT be approved. **MAB or CPI ** MAB: The MAB course must meet the requirements of AB-508 and/or SB1299. The course must provide 4-8 contact hours. Shift: 12 hours Shift times may vary from initial shift p/u so MUST be flexible if asked to work 7a, 9a and sometimes 11a*** Shift times may vary from initial shift - NIGHTS: ***Shift times vary: 1p, 3p, 7p, 8p, 9p*** Shift: 0700 – 1900 /1900 – 070 Mid Shift – 9a – 9p / 11a – 11p / 2p - 2a - Orientation: Basic unit orientation, such as location of linen, medication carts, etc. - RN's are expected to overall work independently on their first shift. Facility Info: License Hits/ DNR: Any hits will require facility approval. Associated facility DNR's will be rejected. - Charting: Allscripts EMD charting. Training modules provided.
