Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Ability to execute standard and executive meeting set-ups, including the beverage and food set-up, in-meeting refreshments and clean-up for external guests or special internal events, such as Board of Directors meetings \n
- Interface with high-profile executives and external guests confidently and helpfully \n
- Ensure the entire Conference Center area is held up to the highest appearance standards, including but not limited to: wiping down all glass doors, removal of light trash, constant communications with Receptionists and Day Matrons pertaining to relevant information regarding maintenance (i.e. artwork level, furniture stability & condition, floral arrangements, etc.) \n
- Check all conference rooms at the end of each meeting to ensure that the resources are always ready for usage, credenzas are cleared, cords/office supplies are neatly stored in their Corian trays in the credenza, chairs are straightened and tucked in to the tables \n
- Communicate and coordinate with IT for all technology setup requirements for meetings \n
- Assist guests and internal employees on any/all Conference Center technology and basic troubleshooting \n
- Coordinate and facilitate issue resolution with Enhanced Deskside Support Technicians when appropriate \n
- Receive and respond to customer complaints, comments and enquiries with professionalism \n
- Catering and Vendor Management \n
- Special Event Coordination \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- A 4-year college degree \n
- Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant work experience \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both verbally and in writing \n
- Polished, professional appearance required \n
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities with a can-do attitude \n
- Ability to bend, stoop and/or stand for extended periods of time \n
- Previous catering, hospitality or service industry experience preferred \n
- Creative problem solver able to think quickly, while remaining calm \n
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel required \n
- Promote the Brookfield brand through a positive attitude with customers, clients, co-workers and management. \n
