Registered Nurse (RN) - LTC

Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care

Schedule: Nights (7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Valid state or compact RN license
• 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills required
• Flexibility to work 24/7 and float to other units as needed

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in a therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with care providers to ensure resident needs are met.
• Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to support residents with dementia/Alzheimer's.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as required.
• Monitor and document changes in residents' conditions, reporting significant findings.
• Support residents in achieving their rehabilitation goals in a short-term care setting.

• Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
• St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
• Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
