Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our growing rehabilitation team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated therapist to help expand our Hand Therapy Program while providing exceptional care to patients with upper extremity injuries and conditions. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering outstanding clinical outcomes, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment & Treatment
Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, functional goals, and evidencebased practices.
Provide specialized hand therapy interventions to maximize function, mobility, and recovery.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Education
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, home exercise programs, and recovery strategies.
Encourage patient participation to promote long-term functional success and independence.

Documentation & Clinical Records
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Ensure patient records reflect treatment progress, outcomes, and plan of care.

Care Coordination
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to optimize treatment outcomes.

Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.

Licensure
Current and active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential required.

Skills & Experience
Experience treating patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.
Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based treatment skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
Passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
