Title: Title IX Coordinator Department: DT Human Resources Campus Location: TCCD District Offices Employee Classification: APT - Administrative Position Type: FT - Regular Grant Funded: No Pay Frequency: Monthly Compensation Details: Starting Pay - 132,900.00; Commensurate with education and experience Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Flexibility is required, as occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary based on department needs Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remote work Special Instructions to Applicant Special Instructions to Applicant: Tarrant County College(TCC) is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and experienced human resources leader to serve as its next Title IX Coordinator. Job Summary Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Title IX Coordinator serves as the institution's subject matter expert and oversees all aspects of Title IX program administration, including complaint resolution, investigations, supportive measures, policy implementation, regulatory compliance, prevention education, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement. This position partners with institutional leadership to promote a culture of accountability, respect, fairness, and compliance while implementing data-informed strategies that improve operational effectiveness, reduce institutional risk, strengthen stakeholder confidence, and ensure every matter is handled with professionalism, consistency, accuracy, and compassion. The successful candidate is an experienced and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces continuous improvement, utilizes data to drive decision-making, and develops high‑performing teams committed to service excellence, quality investigations, and regulatory compliance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements Operational Excellence Establishes measurable service standards and operational performance metrics to ensure investigations, supportive measures, hearings, and appeals are completed accurately, consistently, and within established institutional timelines. Monitors case activity, aging reports, investigator workload, and program performance to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and reduce institutional risk. Develops and maintains quality assurance standards for investigative reports and case documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, objectivity, and regulatory compliance. Leads continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, streamline business processes, and improve stakeholder experience. Data & Analytics Develops and maintains executive dashboards and regularly reports key performance indicators related to investigation timeliness, case volume, backlog, compliance, quality assurance, training, and operational effectiveness. Uses data analytics to identify emerging trends, training needs, recurring issues, and opportunities for proactive education, prevention, and process improvement. Makes evidence‑based recommendations to leadership regarding resource allocation, staffing needs, workflow enhancements, and program effectiveness. Leadership and Talent Development Leads, develops, coaches, and evaluates assigned Title IX personnel while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and service excellence. Establishes clear performance expectations, measurable outcomes, and accountability standards for investigators and professional staff. Conducts routine quality assurance reviews, coaching sessions, and case audits to ensure consistent investigative excellence. Develops onboarding, mentoring, and continuing education programs that strengthen investigative competency and professional growth. Encourages innovation, process improvement, knowledge sharing, and cross‑functional collaboration. Continuous Improvement Partners with college administrators to evaluate existing policies, procedures, technology, and business processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Recommends and implements technology solutions, case management enhancements, workflow automation, and reporting improvements. Conducts regular assessments of departmental performance and develops corrective action plans where needed. Promotes operational excellence through standardization, documentation, quality assurance, and measurable outcomes. Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Five (5) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements Three (3) years’ experience supervising (e.g., managing and evaluating the performance of others) Current Title IX Coordinator certification Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field Three (3) years’ working experience as a Title IX deputy or coordinator in Texas Two (2) years’ working experience conducting Title IX training for program participants, faculty, staff and students Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of applicable Texas employment and Title IX laws and regulations, especially those related to public employers, and institutions of higher education Knowledge of and ability to apply current Federal, State, and local laws relating to Title IX, the Clery Act, Title VI, Title VII, VAWA, ADA, and ADAAA Skilled in policy and procedure interpretation, development, implementation, and training Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a demanding environment where the demands for work are varied and unpredictable in scope and volume Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations Ability to work independently, after hours, holidays, and weekends when needed Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats Ability to establish collaborative relationships Ability to travel to the different district locations for problem resolution, meetings, and training Ability to manage multiple high‑priority matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with competing deadlines Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, develop performance metrics, and use data to drive continuous improvement and informed decision‑making Knowledge of quality assurance principles and best practices for investigations, case management, and compliance operations Ability to develop executive‑level reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate program performance and institutional risk Ability to manage multiple complex investigations while maintaining quality, objectivity, and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of case management systems, reporting tools, and process improvement methodologies Demonstrated ability to coach investigators and maintain consistent investigative quality through formal quality assurance practices Strong executive communication and presentation skills Exceptional organizational, analytical, and decision‑making abilities Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
