A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist for a 16-week contract opportunity. This role involves managing and dispensing medications within an inpatient hospital setting, ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and prepare inpatient medications following hospital protocols and regulations.
• Review and verify medication orders for inpatient pharmacy patients.
• Monitor patient medication therapies for efficacy and adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams including physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of pharmacy activities.
• Participate in inventory management to ensure availability of necessary medications.
• Provide drug information and counseling to healthcare providers and patients as needed.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active pharmacist licensure.
• Experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital inpatient setting.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and medication protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule:

• Full-time hours as needed within the 16-week contract period.
