Maintenance Manager

Maintenance ManagerNesco Resource is now hiring for a Maintenance Manager position at a metals fabrication facility in Richmond, KY. Opportunity for growth.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUses basic hand tools to disassemble and repair machinery; and restores equipment to operation in accordance with the design specifications and industry standards.Performs routine cleaning, inspection, and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems and components; identifies worn or faulty components and/or unsuitable conditions and makes corrections as required.Sets up and operates metal working machinery such as lathes, drill presses, mills, and grinders in order to fabricate, modify or repair various machine parts.Uses basic electrical testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, resistance testers, or mega ohmmeters in order to measure and test electrical circuits and components.Required and Preferred QualificationsAutomation/PLC controls, electronic systems, and PC controlsAn Associate’s Degree or a Certificate in maintenance, Mechatronics, manufacturing, or a related discipline from an accredited technical school or college and 3 years of experience in plant and machine maintenance including automation/PLC controls, electronic systems, and PC controls.Certified Production Technician program completionRequired Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers.Required Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Required reasoning ability.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
