About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff for its Graduate School. The successful candidate will serve as an operational partner and strategic advisor to the Dean, playing a central role in translating the institution's strategy into action. This includes overseeing critical initiatives, advancing the Dean's priorities, and ensuring alignment across academic programs. The Chief of Staff will also lead a portfolio of strategic and operational projects, manage the Dean's office operations, and coordinate with various stakeholders to maintain institutional alignment. The role demands a high level of leadership, the ability to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment, and a proven capacity to lead through influence and drive initiatives to completion. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the Graduate School should have a Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in managing administrative and strategic initiatives in higher education, with at least 5 years' of supervisory experience. The role requires excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build trust and credibility across a wide range of constituencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. Experience working with executives and academic leaders, particularly in a university setting, is preferred. The Chief of Staff will be expected to operate at a high level of college leadership, interact with various stakeholders, and exercise broad discretion in sensitive and high-impact matters.
