Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, providing flexibility for therapists as they conduct sessions with clients via secure telehealth platforms. Our team collaborates closely, utilizing digital tools to ensure patient care remains our top priority. We emphasize a collaborative culture, offering opportunities for case discussions and learning through virtual meetings and training sessions. The role is typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to adapt to client schedules, thereby ensuring the best possible access to care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Genesis Grace Psychotherapy Center, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that honor the cultural context of our patients, ensuring individualized treatment plans that align with their unique experiences.

  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the specific cultural and personal backgrounds of clients.

  • Provide high-quality individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns, promoting resilience, and enhancing overall well-being.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create and deliver integrated care solutions.

  • Engage in crisis intervention strategies, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies and facilitating referrals when necessary.
  • \n
  • Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and available treatment options while providing resources for community-based support.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to enhance cultural competency and stay informed on current best practices.

Qualifications\n

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

  • In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

  • Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive techniques.
  • \n
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and the capability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and composure.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications necessary for patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
