TravelNurseSource is working with TalentBurst, Inc. to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Travel RN – PACU | Asheville, NC

Facility: Mission Hospital
Location: Asheville, NC
Shift: Variable | On-call required

Join a busy 40-bed PACU at Mission Hospital, providing post-anesthesia care for a diverse surgical population. Work alongside an experienced peri-anesthesia team with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio , HUC support, and dedicated PCTs who assist with labs, catheterizations, and patient transport. Nurses may float within the peri-anesthesia service line (Endoscopy, Pre-Op, and Phase II Recovery).

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required)
• NIH Stroke Scale experience
• Recent PACU experience
• Trauma and pediatric experience preferred
• Ventilator monitoring skills required

Additional Details:

• Cerner EMR
• Surgical green or navy scrubs
• 6-week schedules with 3 required call shifts per schedule
• Collaborative team environment with strong ancillary support and opportunities to care for a wide variety of surgical patients.
