Steward

Overview We are seeking an experienced Steward to support our culinary department and enhance guest experiences. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of all dish machines and assist with delivery of hot/cold food for all Food & Beverage outlets and banquet operations. Set up banquet break‑down stations. Clean, sanitize and properly store all china, glassware, silverware, pots and pans in the hotel, ensuring top‑priority sanitation and recycling. Ensure restaurants and banquet kitchens are consistently stocked with the correct equipment. Sanitize and clean all kitchen floors, recycle bins and oil bins, maintaining cleanliness of the recycle/trash room. Assist with linen removal and restocking. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous stewarding experience preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in a luxury hotel and resort preferred. Ability to speak, read, write and understand English required. Minimum of one year’s experience in a customer service position required. Physical Requirements Most work tasks are performed indoors in moderate temperature. Position requires walking and moving for most of the day, standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, stretching and fulfilling cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push or pull carts up to 200 lbs occasionally. Must have finger dexterity to operate office equipment and work in extreme temperatures of freezers (-10 °F) and kitchens (+110 °F).
