Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Positions Available: 2
• Shift: Evening shift, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every 4th weekend, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• Additional Coverage: Help cover third-shift vacations, open shifts, and weekend third-shift hours as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and obtain high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Verify patient identity, review medical history, physician orders, medications, allergies, and patient questionnaires.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions and concerns.
• Position patients and perform CT scans according to established protocols.
• Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media as required.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications according to established protocols.
• Review medications for potential interactions with contrast media.
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures when applicable.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and use appropriate radiation-reduction techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
• Assist coworkers with IV starts, patient preparation, and other imaging-related tasks.
• Operate imaging equipment and archive studies according to quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification.
• Ohio Radiographer license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• ARRT (CT) certification.
• Philips CT scanner experience.
• Bracco injector experience.
• EPIC and PACS experience, including McKesson.
• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ER exams.
• Experience with cardiac CT, TAVR, CTA, code stroke, HD, CAP, and spine imaging.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation precautions, and sterile techniques.
• Patient positioning and imaging equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient protection.
