Essential duties include embodying La Farm values, ensuring world-class customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, preparing and maintaining samples, correctly timing out products, following the CARE acronym, working the register accurately, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of cash handling, completing store merchandising walk-through, receiving and managing special orders, maintaining the coffee station, performing proper rotation and quality control, answering the phone, giving out cookies, completing daily checklists and trays outs, completing production schedule, communicating with production staff, baking breads, cookies, and prep tarts, hawking bread, ensuring overall unit safety and sanitation, maintaining grade "A" or better, upholding company standards and policies for opening/closing, and ensuring safe working conditions.

Other duties as assigned may include performing other duties as assigned or needed.

Experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities include exceptional customer service skills, experience with customer service, food service or high-end retail, cash handling and sales experience, ability to solve business related problems quickly and efficiently, great relationship building skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask, flexibility required, strong verbal communication and people skills, and ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

Essential physical demands include ability to bend and lift 50 lbs and ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
