Position: Construction Laborer

Pay $21 - $26/hr |

Location: Project-Based in Portland, ME

Aerotek is hiring immediately for concrete laborers! This role will be located in Portland, ME where you will be chipping paint, restoring brick, and cleaning the job site. If you are interested, please apply and you will get a call back within 24 hours from Cameron.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with mixing, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete for restoration projects

• Support masons by handling and staging materials (concrete, block, brick, tool sets)

• Perform concrete patching, repair, and surface prep work

• Help with rebar placement, form setup, and basic carpentry tasks

• Prep and maintain job sites—including setup, organization, and cleanup

• Safely operate hand tools and basic power tools

• Work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in construction or heavy labor environments

• Interest or experience in concrete or masonry work

• Ability to lift, carry, and work in active jobsite conditions

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from skilled trades professionals

• Familiarity with rebar, forms, or basic carpentry is a plus

• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
