Oversee the safe operation and use of equipment when being used by students, ensuring company policy and standards are adhered to. Supervise all assigned trainees and complete necessary documentation (attendance forms, training records). Provide in‑person daily instruction to students in full Pre‑Trip Inspection, Basic Control Skills and Road Driving. Qualifications A valid ClassA Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no more than two moving violations in a 12‑month period, or no more than three moving violations in a 24‑month period (records reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis). Minimum three years of over‑the‑road or local commercial driving experience, or meet all criteria required to obtain instructor licensure in the applicable jurisdiction. Pass and continuously maintain a U.S. DOT physical, pass an approved DOT drug test, hair follicle drug test, and agree to random and suspicion‑based drug and alcohol screening. Effective communication skills (verbal and non‑verbal/written). Physical, intellectual and leadership ability to deliver the company’s approved training and curriculum in classroom, full pre‑trip inspection, basic control skills and road driving. Successfully complete all required new hire onboarding and training, and continuing education as required by the company.
