Job Description
Title: Occupational Therapist Schedule:
- Shift: Variable - 5x8 day shifts
- Weekends: No Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks) Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience
- NBCOT required
- BLS certification required
- AK License required (compact license must be in hand at submission)
- Experience with ADLs, orthopedics (hip/knee/total joint), prosthetics, splinting (static/serial/functional), modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, TENS), edema management, cardiac rehab, feeding techniques Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to assist patients in improving their physical abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment goals and strategies for continued recovery.
- Monitor and guide patients during therapy sessions to ensure correct techniques and safety. Compliance / Notes:
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Parking: Free
- Housing: Facility-provided housing for travelers (available no earlier than 72 hours before contract start and up to 24 hours after contract end)
