Assistant Manager Client Services

An innovative company in the upstream oil & gas industry specializing in data is seeking a Client Services Assistant Manager to join the team. This is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented role that combines contract coordination, order management, client support, and internal team oversight. The Contracts Specialist is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of client orders—from contract through delivery—while ensuring accuracy across documentation, process, and deliverables. Salary + Additional Benefits: $95,000 - $125,000 + Bonus 401K - company match Location: Houston, TX 77041 Type of Position: Direct Hire Responsibilities: Assist in managing client contracts and order documentation. Coordinate and track orders from initiation through final data delivery. Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams regarding order questions and status. Ensure all supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and organized. Help troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth execution across teams. Monitor timelines and follow up to keep orders moving efficiently. Support improvements to workflows, processes and documentation standards. Provide day‑to‑day oversight support to the Client Services function. Requirements: 8+ years experience in client services, operations, contracts administration, or project coordination Experience with contract management, licensing agreements and/or accounting a plus Strong organizational and process management skills Detail-oriented with ability to track multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable working across teams (legal/contracts, accounting, marketing, operations) Strong communication skills (internal and external) Ideally experience within the oil & gas industry but not required Proactive and able to operate with limited supervision Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
