Speech Therapy - Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment working 35 guaranteed hours per week. The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires strong clinical judgment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to helping patients achieve optimal communication and functional outcomes.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations preferred
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or acute care settings preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills required
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams required
• Current BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities include conducting speech-language and swallowing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy for communication, cognitive, and dysphagia disorders, documenting patient progress, modifying treatment plans based on clinical outcomes, educating patients and caregivers, collaborating with physicians and rehabilitation teams, participating in care planning and discharge planning, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering evidence-based speech therapy services to improve patient independence and quality of life.
