We're seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our dynamic East Austin team with vision, accountability, and heart. You'll guide daily operations, support team development, and drive initiatives that enhance both the client and employee experience - ensuring the highest standards of care and service. What You’ll Do: Manage, plan, and coordinate the practice's overall operations while cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment Partner with the Regional Operations Manager to develop long-term practice vision and goals Lead, mentor, and motivate a compassionate veterinary team at PAZ East Develop your team through regular staff meetings, one-on-one feedback, and annual reviews Maintain compliance with organizations such as OSHA and the DEA Manage client retention by demonstrating and reinforcing exceptional client service Oversee all financial responsibilities including payroll, accounts receivable, pricing, and inventory Partner with Hospital Leadership to lead the team, maintain a great hospital culture, and ensure financial success Implement efficient processes while maintaining our culture of creativity and care Foster accountability, communication, and team engagement Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance to keep the hospital running smoothly Collaborate with veterinarians and Innovetive Petcare leadership to support hospital goals and growth What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in a management role, including customer service experience Proven leadership experience in a veterinary or medical management setting Experience in a practice setting with progressive responsibility is a plus Strong leadership skills with high emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset Exceptional communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite) and ability to learn Practice Management Software Effective delegation and time management skills with the ability to achieve results through others Positive interpersonal skills with staff and clients; thrives in a team environment Flexible, forward-thinking, and passionate about innovation and continuous improvement A people-first leader who values empathy, inclusivity, and accountability A dash of quirkiness and a love for Austin's unique energy - because fitting in at PAZ means embracing what makes you, you Why You'll Love Working Here: Authentic Austin culture with a focus on individuality and respect Opportunities for training, career development, and continuing education Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee discounts on services and products A supportive, inclusive team that values both fun and focus Cold brew on tap, community connection, and lots of four-legged friends If you're ready to lead with heart, manage with purpose, and help shape the future of veterinary care in East Austin - we'd love to meet you.
