Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist for its cardiovascular portfolio in the Toms River, NJ area. This field-based role drives adoption of BMS medicines through scientific engagement with healthcare providers, building credibility with regional thought leaders and community physicians while meeting sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Promote approved BMS cardiovascular indications within assigned territory to meet sales targets compliantly
- Conduct scientific presentations and speaker programs to healthcare providers on product use and emerging data
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other BMS teams to enhance customer experience and share market insights
- Leverage analytics tools and medical support to inform call planning and address complex inquiries
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales, MSL, healthcare, or nursing experience
- Ability to communicate scientific and clinical data accurately to physicians
- Demonstrated track record building credibility with key customers and influence networks
- Cardiovascular experience preferred
- Proven account management and sales performance meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and team mindset
- Customer-centric approach with commercial acumen and problem-solving ability
