Controls Technician IThis position will routinely and consistently perform a variety of recurring and non-recurring, controls assignments, both preventative as well as corrective. This involves highly technical work in the installation, set-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of moderately complex to complex building systems (i.e. Field Controller Networks (FCN), Air handling units (AHUs), terminal units Variable air volume (VAV) and Constant air volume (CAV), exhaust fans, chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, energy recovery units, etc., motor drives (VFD) and instrumentation installation and calibration.High school diploma or equivalency and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
