Job Description GI Hospitalist Opening Near Atlanta, GA Located in Lawrenceville, GA - Atlanta 32mSeeking two full-time GI Hospitalists to join their inpatient team. This is a permanent position with a flexible and manageable 7on/7off schedule. Ideal for physicians looking for a rewarding, team-based hospitalist role with consistent time off. Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off (22 weeks per year) Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM inpatient consult service General GI—no ERCP/EUS required Inpatient-only role covering unassigned and existing group patients Support: 2 dedicated inpatient APPs covering 7 days/week Night call covered by current group physicians 8 remaining weeks of hospitalist coverage handled internally by the team Location: Large, well-established hospital system in the Northeast Atlanta metro area Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain DEA license (or willingness to obtain)* Open to 2025 GI fellowship graduates Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive salary (based on experience; discussed during interview) Full benefits begin on Day 1 of employment, including: Medical, Vision, and Dental 401(k) with employer match Malpractice insurance CME reimbursement dedicated days of Relocation management service provided License and DEA application/renewal services fully managedThis is a full-time, hospital-employed position with excellent support, a steady referral base, and a highly manageable schedule.
