License/Certs: Active RN license in Louisiana, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant nursing experience

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality nursing care within the PACU, monitoring patient recovery from anesthesia
Assess patient needs and vital signs, responding promptly to changes
Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical teams, and other healthcare professionals
Document patient status and care activities accurately
Educate patients and family members about recovery procedures and post-care instructions
Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and privacy standards
Maintain detailed, timely documentation of patient care activities

What You Need

Required:

Current Louisiana RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
2+ years of relevant PACU or adult-focused perioperative experience
Proficient computer and communication skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
Certification in a clinical specialty related to perioperative nursing

The role involves direct patient interaction, teamwork, and adherence to strict clinical standards to promote excellent patient outcomes.
