Job Title: Assembler-Packer
Location: Waco, TX 76712
Shifts: Mon to Fri 

• 1st shift- 7:30am-3:30pm $12.50hr
• 2nd shift 3:30pm- 11:30pm $14.25hr
• 3rd shift 11:30pm-7:30am $15.25hr

Position Summary:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembler-Packers to join our team in Waco, TX. The Assembler-Packer is responsible for assembling, packing, and inspecting manufactured products while maintaining production standards and safety requirements. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Consistent attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts; must be ready and able to work.
• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
• Participate in safety and workplace training and communications during your scheduled shift.
• Work collaboratively with team members, assist others as needed, and help train new employees.
• Maintain good housekeeping by keeping assigned work areas clean and orderly; includes picking up parts, loose paper, and sweeping as needed.
• Gather, assemble, and pack manufactured products daily, ensuring production standards are achieved and maintained.
• Refer to Product Order Report (POR) to ensure correct materials (packaging, cartons, etc.) and quantities are used per product specs.
• Report any quality issues (e.g., flash, shorts, burn, wrap, box issues) promptly to Q.C. or shift supervisor.
• Assemble or re-assemble parts as required, such as clips into hangers, hooks inserted into jawbreaker parts, etc.
• Assist in rework, inspection, and other assignments as directed by supervisor.
• Perform additional duties or assignments as requested by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Manual dexterity and speed.
• Physical ability to stand, reach, stoop, and work flexibly for extended periods.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as POR, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Good fine finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination for operating machinery.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and performing repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 30 pounds.
• Significant standing for extended periods, up to the entire shift.
