Licensed Veterinary Technician

Job Description Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises, may be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. Hours of Operation Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 6:00 pm Saturday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm Closed on Sundays Qualifications An actively Licensed Veterinary Technician, or license‑eligible in the state of NY. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply! If you do not hold an active NY LVT license, you must be eligible to take the VTNE and pass it within 3 months of hire.
