Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and team members, and support access control and other security-related operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location. Screen people, bags, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders, and report unusual findings through appropriate channels. Monitor entry points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related concerns, observations, and actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, screening areas, and perimeter, noting facility conditions and reporting issues that may affect daily operations. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
