This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting women through every stage of life while working alongside a compassionate and collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care.Why You’ll Love This Role**Schedule:** PRN (As Needed)**Deeply Meaningful Work** – Support patients through key life stages—from wellness exams and reproductive health to prenatal care and beyond—in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.**Collaborative, Caring Team** – Work alongside OB/GYN providers, nurses, and support staff who value your contributions and encourage professional growth.**Flexible Opportunity** – Enjoy the flexibility of a PRN schedule while remaining connected to a specialty clinic focused on delivering exceptional care to women throughout our community.**What You’ll Be Doing*** Receive and prepare patients for examination and treatment, obtaining and documenting medical histories and vital signs.* Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies based on patient and provider needs.* Assist providers with physical examinations, minor procedures, and treatments.* Perform approved procedures including suture and staple removal, application of dressings, splints, casts, and other duties within scope of practice.* Collect laboratory specimens and perform approved clinical support functions.* Assist with appointments, diagnostic testing, procedures, referrals, authorizations, and patient coordination.* Respond to incoming calls and patient portal messages, gathering information and directing concerns appropriately.* Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies according to infection prevention and safety standards.* Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record.* Participate in department meetings, process improvement initiatives, and ongoing education as requested.* Maintain regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.**What You Bring to the Table****Required Qualifications*** **Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.*** Minimum of one (1) of the following required within eighteen (18) months of hire: + Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program; or + Completion of a Medical Assistant program offered by a school accredited by a regional or national accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, including a minimum of 720 clock hours of training and an externship of at least 160 hours.* Current Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR certification preferred or must successfully complete prior to completion of orientation.* Ability to practice within Logan Health's Medical Assistant scope of practice and competency requirements.**Preferred Qualifications*** Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.* Previous experience in OB/GYN or women’s health preferred.* Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.* Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, and pharmacology preferred.* Knowledge of medical equipment, patient safety practices, infection prevention, HIPAA requirements, and regulatory standards preferred.**Soft Skills*** Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.* Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care with integrity, kindness, and empathy.**Why You’ll Thrive at Logan Health*** Be part of a healthcare system known for **Quality, Compassion, and Care for All**.* Join a supportive women’s health team dedicated to delivering exceptional care throughout every stage of life.* Work in a collaborative environment that values professional growth, teamwork, and patient advocacy.* Enjoy the flexibility of a PRN schedule while continuing to make a meaningful impact in your community.**Ready to Make Every Shift Matter?**Apply today and become part of Logan Health’s Women’s Care team—where your clinical expertise and compassion help deliver trusted, lifelong care to women throughout our community.**Shift:**Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)**Schedule:**Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
