Data Processing Specialist

The Department of Undergraduate Admissions is accepting applications for its Data Processing Specialist position.

Examples Of Duties

• Key documents as required: high school and college transcripts, test scores, etc.
• Liaison to support all functions Relief for front desk personnel.
• Provide customer service support as it relates to the student admission process.
• Assist with maintaining the electronic portals for transcripts (E-Scripts, Parchment, etc.).
• Responsible for the storage and retrieval of received transcripts and other documents.
• Enter data in Banner as needed: High school information, test score information.
• Responsible for pushing new apps.
• Responsible for indexing and linking documents (scanning and attaching to Banner record).
• Download documents from admissions mailboxes: faxes, transcripts and future tigers, etc.
• Assist with events as needed.
• Work extended hours as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Typical Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Required.
• Data entry experience required.
• 3-5 years higher education or related experience preferred.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner system a plus.
• Must be proficient in use of a computer.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data with speed and accuracy.
• Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented; self-motivated, show initiative and be able to work independently.
• Must provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and the entire University family and other community constituents.
