Locations: Oakland City, Winslow, and Cynthiana, Indiana

We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team serving our properties in Oakland City, Winslow, and Cynthiana, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple properties.

This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning properties for our residents. The successful candidate will assist with building maintenance, groundskeeping, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs while working closely with the property management team.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.

• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable grounds and exterior areas.

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance issues.

• Perform general carpentry, repairs, installations, and other maintenance projects.

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and service logs.

• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.

• Identify safety concerns and report issues requiring additional attention.

• Travel between assigned properties as needed to complete maintenance tasks.

• Work independently while collaborating with property management staff to ensure efficient daily operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of two years of maintenance experience or experience in a related field.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Must have basic hand tools necessary to perform routine maintenance duties.

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs.

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical certifications, or technical training are a plus but are not required.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
