Facility: MICU | Location: Wilmington, NC, Full-Time | Work Schedule: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

What We're Looking For:

• Education:
  - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

• Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required.

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: 
  - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
  - Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to critically ill adult patients with complex medical conditions.
• Perform detailed assessments and recognize subtle changes in patient condition requiring immediate intervention.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Respond to emergent situations and participate in rapid interventions for critically ill patients.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the critical care experience.
• Promote a safe environment while following evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.
