Location: Milwaukie, OR
Pay: $24.00-$38.00/hour
Shift: Day Shift

A growing technology company is seeking a Sales Associate with a technical background and a passion for building long-term customer relationships. This position focuses on selling instrumentation and automation solutions, including temperature-related products and specialized proprietary product lines.

Job Description

The Sales Associate will provide technical support to customers while selling and promoting instrumentation and automation solutions. This position will establish key customer relationships, identify technology needs, and help develop opportunities for future business growth through existing products and new markets.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers
Sell and promote instrumentation and automation solutions
Focus on temperature-related products and specialized product lines
Establish key customer contacts and build strategic relationships
Understand customer technology requirements and identify solutions
Identify opportunities for expanding current product offerings and customer markets
Develop and maintain long-term business relationships
Stay knowledgeable about products, technology, and industry applications
Communicate customer needs and market opportunities to internal teams

Experience & Qualifications

Electrical or automation engineering background preferred
Experienced automation technician may be considered
Sales experience and product knowledge related to instrumentation preferred
Basic knowledge of computers and ERP systems
Understanding of temperature-related applications
Strong technical problem-solving abilities
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Passion for technology and a forward-thinking approach to sales
Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Must be based in Oregon or Washington

Work Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate

$24.00-$38.00/hour
