About the Position

Job Title: Infusion RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Infusion Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year License: Active state license required Certifications: ONS chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience required, Beacon experience preferred Description: Infusion RN position available with a day shift schedule. No nights, floating, or on-call shifts required. The unit provides care for adults with solid tumor cancers and hematologic malignancies. Infusion RNs will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and supportive care. Experience with central line care, including PICC lines and implanted ports, is necessary. Patient education and symptom management will be part of the role. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including oncology providers and pharmacy staff, is essential. EMR documentation and adherence to safety protocols are required. Candidates must have experience managing infusion reactions and conducting lab draws. A basic understanding of oncology-related side effects and treatments is crucial. Responsibilities include care coordination for scheduled infusion visits and urgent symptom management. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective patient and family education and support.
