Proposal Specialist

Associate Proposals SpecialistIXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is looking for an Associate Proposals Specialist to support IXL's RFP and proposals strategy. In this role, you will collaborate with departments across the company to develop winning proposals and bids that effectively communicate IXL's product value and foster strong district and state partnerships.The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about IXL's mission to impact education.This position requires you to be in our Raleigh, NC, area office.What You’ll Be DoingRequest and screen bidding opportunities dailyOrder supplies and proposals materialsPrint, copy, ship, and track proposals and book samplesComplete online bid portal registration and questionnaires, and submit bidsComplete vendor registration forms and paperwork for proposals, support document formatting, and work with internal teams to collect necessary informationCollaborate with IXL sales, contracts, legal, marketing, HR, finance, IT, Security, and other teams to gather information and language needed for responsesTrack bid and proposals awards, follow up with district purchasing departments, request evaluations, submit open records requests, synthesize win/loss data, and archive submitted proposalsMaintain contracts lists, track renewals, update pricing, as neededSupport ad hoc bid projects, as neededWhat We’re Looking ForBA/BS and 1-3 years of experience in a related fieldStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work efficientlyExceptionally organized and detail-orientedQuick learner who demonstrates initiativeEnergetic, mature, positive person who works well independently and with a teamExperience with Google Applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe requiredExperience with SchoolWatch and RFPs desiredExperience in K-12 education a plusAbout IXL LearningIXL Learning is the country’s largest EdTech company.
