Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to support the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP team on an on-call basis. The role involves participating in strike shifts scheduled for 09/15-09/16, requiring quick onboarding and compliance adherence.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare for on-call duties by completing minimal onboarding requirements prior to the strike date.
  
  
• 
  Report promptly for scheduled strike shifts, including night shifts as specified.
  
  
• 
  Verify active nursing license and maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
  
  
• 
  Ensure all vaccination requirements, such as MMR and Varicella, are fulfilled or properly documented.
  
  
• 
  Complete and submit manual timesheets for shifts not logged in the VMS system, with department director approval.
  
  
• 
  Attend mandatory orientation to qualify for strike coverage and ensure understanding of specific compliance protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current and active nursing license in the applicable state.
  
  
• 
  Possess and maintain certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to quickly complete onboarding with minimal compliance requirements.
  
  
• 
  Maintain flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including strike shifts.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication and documentation skills.
