DME Manager / Biller

Medical BillerOffice based...this is not a remote position and must have healthcare and DME experience! This position will be primarily responsible for operations of our virtual DME company based in Mobile. Experience with equipment orders, inventory, customer service and knowledge of DME regulations and billing are required.Duties:Review and verify medical billing information for accuracy and completenessPrepare and submit medical claims to insurance companiesFollow up on unpaid or denied claimsResolve billing discrepancies and issuesCommunicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries and disputesMaintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulationsStay up-to-date with changes in medical billing codes and regulationsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar roleKnowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing proceduresProficient in using medical billing software and electronic health record systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with insurance guidelines and reimbursement processesMust have experience in:Enteral pumps & nutritional productsBeneficiary eligibilityWound care suppliesPart B and third party billingJob type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayExperience:Enteral pumps and nutritional products: 1 year (Required)Beneficiary eligibility: 1 year (Required)Wound care supplies: 1 year (Required)Part B and third party billing: 1 year (Required)Work location: In person
