We are a rapidly growing company committed to creating a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture./ppCargomatic was named to the Built In Best Places to Work list for 2023, 2024, and 2025, recognizing our people-first culture, comprehensive benefits, and commitment to supporting employee growth and well-being./ph2Position Overview/h2ulliLead driver safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management activities for Cargomatics Dallas operations./liliServe as the primary owner of driver-focused safety and compliance programs./liliEnsure company drivers and owner-operators operate in compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and applicable state regulations./liliMaintain audit-ready compliance documentation and support operational teams with safety-related guidance./liliRespond to safety incidents and compliance matters, including outside standard business hours as needed./li/ulh2Key Responsibilities/h2h3Driver Safety Compliance Management/h3ulliDevelop, implement, and manage driver safety and compliance programs for company drivers and owner-operators./liliMonitor driver logs, hours-of-service compliance, roadside inspections, CSA scores, and in-cab camera events./liliEnforce corrective actions, coaching, and retraining for safety or compliance violations./liliAudit and maintain complete and accurate Driver Qualification Files (DQFs)./liliReview driver qualifications and approve drivers for onboarding and orientation./liliEnsure ongoing compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and applicable state transportation regulations./li/ulh3Incident Regulatory Management/h3ulliInvestigate accidents, incidents, and safety events involving drivers and equipment./liliPrepare detailed incident reports and implement corrective and preventative actions./liliServe as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) for drug and alcohol testing programs./liliAdminister pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing./liliManage FMCSA Drug Alcohol Clearinghouse queries, reporting, follow-up actions, and MIS submissions./liliCoordinate workers compensation claims related to driver injuries./liliLiaise with insurance providers and case managers as needed./li/ulh3Reporting Audits/h3ulliMaintain accurate FMCSA portal data and roadside inspection records./liliFile and manage fleet registrations, permits, MCS-150 updates, and IFTA reporting./liliTrack DOT vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance documentation./liliPrepare documentation and support internal and external safety and compliance audits./li/ulh3Training Orientation/h3ulliLead new driver and owner-operator onboarding and orientation sessions./liliCommunicate safety expectations, compliance requirements, and company policies clearly./liliCoordinate distribution of onboarding materials including ELDs, dash cameras, permits, decals, and safety documentation./liliDevelop and administer recurring safety and compliance training programs for drivers./li/ulh3Operational Safety Support/h3ulliPartner with operations and dispatch teams to address driver compliance issues./liliProvide guidance on corrective actions and risk mitigation strategies./liliRespond to safety-related incidents and urgent compliance matters outside normal business hours when required./liliCollaborate with insurance, legal, and leadership teams on claims management and risk mitigation initiatives./li/ulh2Qualifications/h2ulli5+ years of safety and compliance experience in trucking, drayage, intermodal, or transportation and logistics./liliStrong working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations./liliProven experience managing driver compliance, accident investigations, and safety audits./liliExperience administering drug and alcohol testing programs and FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance./liliHighly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy./liliStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with drivers./liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment./liliWillingness to work extended or irregular hours when safety incidents arise./liliMinimal travel required./li/ulh2Benefits/h2ulliCompetitive medical, dental, and vision coverage./lili401(k) plan with company match./liliGenerous paid time off including vacation, sick time, and company holidays./liliEmployee assistance program and wellness resources./liliOpportunities for professional growth and career development./liliCollaborative, people-first culture focused on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement./li/ul/div
