The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, self-directed anesthesia professional committed to providing safe and effective anesthetic care in a collaborative environment.Position Overview: This role involves the administration of anesthesia and related services in accordance with established standards, practices, and guidelines. The CRNA will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure patient comfort and safety during surgical and diagnostic procedures.Key Responsibilities:Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist or as per organizational policiesMonitor patients throughout procedures, adjusting anesthetics as neededMaintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standardsParticipate in pre-operative assessments and post-anesthesia careApply critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in high-stakes environmentsEnsure effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team membersMinimum Qualifications:Current RN license and CRNA certification in the state of IndianaGraduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program (COA)Certified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (or its predecessor)Demonstrated clinical competency in anesthesia servicesAbility to communicate effectively and follow instructions preciselyStrong interpersonal and critical-thinking skillsEligible for malpractice insurance coverageWork Environment:Day shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), rotating scheduleFrequent interaction with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary staffRole requires discretion and confidentiality due to exposure to sensitive patient informationIdeal Candidate Will Possess:Ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic clinical settingSound reasoning and independent problem-solving abilitiesA flexible, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to patient-centered care
