Procurement Buyer, Expert(Hybrid)

Agilent seeks an experienced Procurement Buyer, Expert to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for manufacturing operations. The role supports product introductions, cost optimization, and supply continuity through cross-functional collaboration. This hybrid position requires three days onsite per week in California.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and inventory planning for manufacturing materials, components, equipment, and services
- Lead sourcing activities for New Product Introduction programs and negotiate supplier contracts
- Build and manage supplier relationships, performance metrics, and risk mitigation plans
- Drive supply chain improvements, cost savings, and process efficiencies across global sourcing initiatives
- Ensure regulatory, quality, and corporate procurement compliance in manufacturing operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or manufacturing purchasing experience
- Supplier management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing expertise
- Manufacturing operations and NPI project support experience
- ERP systems and procurement tools proficiency
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- California residency and ability to meet onsite requirements; no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $112,650–$176,015 per year plus bonus, stock, and benefits eligibility
