Industrial Engineer 3

Description: 

ENG- Support the Electrical Mechanical Integration Center by building, modifying, testing, and delivering production capabilities while optimizing the production system. Additional functions include strategic studies, capability and capacity planning, budgeting and forecasting, capital asset management, new business proposal support, work transfer coordination, and collaboration with internal customers and program management.

*Must be a U.S. Citizen
#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of work-related experience
*5+ years of experience working in an engineering discipline
*5+ years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Preferred Skills

*Willingness to work in a fabrication or shop floor environment and adhere to safety requirements
*Microsoft Office Applications experience
*Ability to interact with employees to gather data for process improvements, including observing and documenting processes and collecting data in manufacturing areas or aircraft during various production phases

*Build, modify, test, and deliver the Electrical Mechanical Integration Center
*Optimize the production system while executing committed statements of work
*Develop strategic studies, capability and capacity planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
*Manage capital assets
*Evaluate and support new business proposals
*Coordinate work transfers
*Collaborate with internal customers and program management
*Gather data for process improvements through observation, documentation, and collection activities in manufacturing areas or aircraft during various production phases
*Maintain regular and predictable attendance
