Visit with Samaritan's patients and families in their homes or in long-term care facilities in your local communities . Provide a comforting presence, companionship, read, play cards and games, share stories, share military experiences, act as a friend or neighbor. Veterans needed to visit fellow Veterans.

Volunteers visit once a week for 2-4 hours and do not provide any hands-on care. Must be at least 18 years old. No experience or healthcare background needed. Complimentary training is provided.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • One-year commitment
  • Volunteer Orientation and Training
  • Among the medical Requirements are the COVID Vaccination and one booster (or physician-signed medical declination)
