About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, TNCC Must-Have: Orthopedic experience Trauma orthopedic experience Description: Must include TNCC certification. The unit has a total of 453 beds. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 to 1 in the operating room. Procedures performed include arthroscopies, total joints, and orthopedic trauma. Advanced skills are required for this position. The documentation system used is Meditech. The unit does not require floating. Staff is expected to take six call shifts per four-week schedule. Staff members enjoy a supportive management team and a family-like atmosphere. There is strong emphasis on patient satisfaction.
