Maternal Fetal Medicine Opening Des Moines, IAFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking BC/BE Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join perinatal center in Des Moines, IowaPosition Highlights:Consultative-only MFM practiceNo delivery or surgical responsibilities beyond cerclage proceduresPatient volume of 10-12 per day with focus on quality care4 clinic/call days per week with 0.5 day administrative timeCall rotation 1:3 with APP support for diabetic patientsLevel III perinatal center with Level IIIB NICUStrong multidisciplinary support including specialty nurses, sonographers, genetic counselors, and diabetic educatorLarge referral base with high-risk maternal and fetal casesAdvanced imaging technology and system-wide Epic EMRResponsibilities:Provide consultative maternal-fetal medicine careManage high-risk pregnancies and fetal conditionsInterpret diagnostic imaging and fetal assessmentsCollaborate with obstetrics, neonatology, and multidisciplinary teamsParticipate in call coverageQualifications:Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal MedicineActive Iowa license or ability to obtainFetal echocardiography experience preferredCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation with incentive potentialComprehensive benefits packageGenerous paid time offContinuing medical education (CME) allowancePaid malpractice insuranceRetirement plan optionsStudent loan forgiveness eligibility (PSLF)Work-life balance support
