Phlebotomist - Per Diem

Location Detail 80 Seymour Street (10008) Shift Detail Third shift per diem position avialable- Every other weekend required Job Summary The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes. The Phlebotomist is required to comply with all OSHA and regulatory requirements including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Or, other experience and training that will support minimum on-the-job training to perform the above duties. Keyboarding / data entry experience. Knowledge of venipuncture techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude. Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems. Continuous improvement mindset.
