In this role, you will work closely with Sales leadership in the Central region, as well as collaborate with peers across the Marketing organization, to develop and execute the regional marketing strategy, plan, and budget.You will be responsible for strategically planning and executing high-impact, integrated marketing programs that engage both current and prospective customers. These programs will be designed to drive pipeline growth and strengthen customer loyalty by using the right mix of tactics to reach, educate, nurture, and convert target audiences into high-quality leads and opportunities.The ideal candidate is a modern marketer with a proven track record of generating upmarket pipeline and accelerating deal cycles through effective, data-driven marketing initiatives.Your day-to-day Develop the integrated field and channel marketing plan for the U.S. Northeast region to drive pipeline growth and customer loyalty.Plan, manage, execute, and measure the quarterly regional marketing plan to support the sales team in exceeding pipeline and revenue goals.Ensure strong communication with key stakeholders by creating high levels of awareness, excitement, and adoption of marketing programs and resources.Exceed key quarterly metrics goals and track program results, measuring success and reporting on key performance indicators.Manage and execute multi-faceted event programs, including in-person and virtual seminars, webinars, executive conferences and roundtables, industry events, and networking functions, while developing comprehensive pre- and post-event strategies.Provide on-site support for marketing programs execution.Identify and manage relevant industry associations and ensure an appropriate level of engagement.Integrate technology partner co-marketing programs into the regional marketing plans.Track lead flow to ensure appropriate sales channels follow up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner.Establish and proactively manage the field marketing budget, ensuring effective and efficient spending tracking.Align with Sales VPs and Regional Directors to understand regional market trends and tailor marketing programs to support quota attainment goals.What you bring to the teamMinimum of 5 years of experience in a high-tech, B2B, sales-facing marketing rolePassion for field marketing and partnering with sales to generate pipeline and drive business growthProven success in managing integrated marketing campaigns and programs to generate new business, drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and accelerate sales cyclesDemonstrated leadership, innovation, and creativity, with a natural ability to think outside the boxEnthusiasm for tackling challenges and a strong work ethicExcellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExperience working closely with sales leadership and influencing cross-functional teamsStrong initiative, sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational and project management skills, and a "can-do" attitudeExcellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written)Positive attitude, friendly and outgoing demeanor, and a willingness to take smart risksExperience with Salesforce.com and Marketo is a plusWillingness to travel up to 20% of the timeWhy Proofpoint?At Proofpoint, we believe that an exceptional career experience includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
