About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM / 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience - Must be willing to work every other holiday Description: Med/Surg Tele RN position available. This role may require floating to various units to care for similar patient populations. Rotating shifts are required, with the facility striving to honor preferred shifts but reserving the right to rotate staff as operational needs dictate. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience within the specialty, preferably within one location. Travel experience will be accepted. Candidates must possess an active Ohio license or a Compact State license. Documentation of active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS is essential. Relevant references from a supervisor or manager in the specialty applying for are required for submission. All required certifications must be maintained actively with no pending items. Candidates must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both assessments. Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. Compliance with all other requirements is expected. This position allows for a maximum extension of 18 months, after which a break is necessary unless otherwise approved by the client on a case-by-case basis.
