- TBD during the interview
- Assist oral surgeons with surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, none grafts, and IV sedation cases.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, operatory, and sterilization areas in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Monitor and reassure patients before, during and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Take and process dental radiographs, including panoramic and CBCT imaging (if certified).
- Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers.
- Manage surgical inventory, prepare surgical trays, and order supplies as needed.
- Supports sedation and anesthesia setup (IV or nitrous) and recovery process under supervision.
- Collaboration with front desk and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient experience
- Current, valid, and unrestricted FL license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) - two (2) years of dental assisting experience.
- Must have Oral Surgery experienceOral surgery experience
- Preferred Skills & Experience: -IV sedations & Nitrous Oxide highly recommended
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
