About the Position

Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Paramedic Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ Years License: Iowa or National Paramedic Certification Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2+ years of experience Prehospital experience required Team player and patient care focused Description: No driving required. The EMT employee will need to drive the ambulance. All background checks must be fully cleared prior to start. Mandatory reporter certification required for child and adult. A drug test is required, and it must include a 10-panel screening including opiates. Titers must be current within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB. Monday or Tuesday start dates are allowed. Assist in the Emergency Department as requested. Patient population includes adults and pediatrics. Dress code consists of black or blue pants and black shoes or boots. Uniform top will be provided. Candidates must have a patient-centered approach and the ability to work effectively in a team.
